It has been noted that one or two high street retailers are participating in a period of post festive cleansing going by the name of  ‘January Sales’.  Not to be outdone by an inferior detoxifying regime Armstrongs too will be slashing the prices of many choice vintage items.  This will not merely be applying to last season’s Chrimbo party wear.  We are not ones to saturate the market with unraveling beaded tops and brocade trousers and just to prove my point here are a few tasty budget morsels.

Here are a few ways to channel the Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2013 catwalk.  This is a sale for the fashion savvy with Op Art prints and matching twin sets all at super slashed rates.  Why not spend those Christmas pennies wisely and invest in a one-off (not a knock-off).

Embrace youre Inner Glam! Bowie back with a Bang!

Not only did David Bowie celebrate his 66th Birthday this week,The influential musician and King of Fashion, simultaneously released his first single in over a decade, Titled " Where are we now?" which landed at the top of the UK Tunes charts, shortly after its debut.
The opportunist that I am,decided to pay homage and "resurrect the Era" Of Glam Rock, In which
the style Icon merged Rock/pop music with Flamboyant clothing, make up, an abundance of Glitter( hence the term;Glitter rock )and not to mention the Formidable Platform boots!
Bowie indulged in this style,Incorporating these elements into his stage performance and was glam personified!
To this day Bowie has been an inspiration to the world of Fashion,Recreating his style countless times over and has a legion of fans, including Kate Moss herself transformed into the 1970's era of Glam and androgyny in an edition of Vogue.

Personally, I'm re-declaring my love for inner Glam and familiarising my wardrobe with the sparkly splendour of sequins,Lurex and Glitter......LETS DANCE
